Black Tea Single Bud #2
Single bud is a kind of orthodox black tea made from fresh single bud in fully matured state, these very fine teas are made from delicate young tea buds which are covered in fine hairs and the dried tea leaves appear bright color. They are harvested when the year’s first tea buds begin to grow in late March or early April. Most black teas are made from leaves that are harvested later in the season, and after being oxidized and dried, they appear black in color. Young tea buds, on the other hand, are a beautiful golden color after processing. The flavor is smooth with a delicate sweetness that covers the entire palate, and there is a lingering aftertaste reminiscent of liquorice. The liquor is bright color with a strong aroma matching the taste that have a luscious, dark chocolate dipped fruit note which is well balanced with the malty flavor of a black or red tea.
